RICHLAND COUNTY — The following construction projects are anticipated to affect roadways in Richland and Crawford County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting and is subject to change.


State Route 96 bridge replacement – SR 96, between SR 603 and SR 545, is closed for 120 days for a bridge replacement project. The detour route will be SR 96 west to SR 545 south to SR 603 north to SR 96, and reverse. Estimated completion: Tuesday, August 20, 2024


State Route 430 culvert replacement – NEW IMPACTS – SR 430, at McElroy Rd, will close Monday, July 8 for a culvert replacement. The detour route will be SR 430 east to SR 39 south to SR 603 north to SR 430, and reverse. Estimated completion: Friday, July 26, 2024


State Route 603 Bridge Replacement – NEW IMPACTS – SR 603, at Crider Road, will close Monday, July 8 for the Crider Rd bridge replacement project. The detour route will be SR 603 north to U.S. 30 west to U.S. 42 north to SR 603, and reverse. Estimated completion: Friday, July 12, 2024


U.S. Route 30 resurfacing – U.S. 30, from SR 98 to just east of SR 602, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Project work includes resurfacing and minor bridge work. Traffic will be maintained at all times. Estimated completion: December 2024


U.S. Route 30 culvert preservation – U.S. 30, from Crawford Wyandot Road to Old Lincoln Highway, will be reduced to one lane in each direction for a culvert maintenance project. One 12-foot lane of traffic will be maintained at all times. Estimated completion: August 2024


State Route 181 resurfacing – SR 181 in the village of Crestline, from SR 61 to Bucyrus Street, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: August 2024


State Route 598 resurfacing – SR 598, between the city of Galion and SR 39, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: August 2024
