Alma Jean Terman, 85 years old, of Mansfield, OH passed away and has gone to be with our Lord on June 14, 2024. She was born in Centerburg, OH, on February 7, 1939, to the late Raymond Hogle and Ellen (Calvert) Harbaugh.

Jean married Olen “Boone” Terman on August 27, 1955, a retired firefighter for the City of Mansfield. Boone and Jean started a food concession business in 1969, which is still in operation today, Terman Concessions. They also sold petrified wood and glass rocks and she really enjoyed going on rock trips. The children would be allowed to go, only if they had good grades at school. Jean loved her family very much and attended many special events whenever she could. There are no words that can express the amount of love she showed her family — her heart was pure gold.

Everyone always came first with her. Jean was an amazing cook, her beef and noodles and potato salad were often requested. Each of her family had their favorite that she would proudly make on her visits. They were all spoiled. Jean loved all of her grandbabies. Babysitting for each of them through the years was enjoyed as the family grew. She made amazing memories for all of them to hold dear.

We are the blessed ones. God has embraced our angel of a Mom and she is now reunited with our Dad.

She is survived by four daughters: Sandi (Billy) Reid of Lovelady, TX, Sherry Cormack of Dallas, TX, Sindy (John) Nordstrom and Stacey (Ken) Jaskiewicz, both of Mansfield, OH; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Boone; an infant daughter, Candi; and her brother, Kenneth Hogle.

There will be no services or visitation at this time. Wappner Funeral Directors – Ontario is honored to serve the family.
