Ethel Irene Kozma of Mansfield passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Arbors at Mifflin at the age of 82. She was born May 13, 1938, in Clay County, West Virginia, to the late Denver and Myrtle (Smith) Beasley.

She retired after 27 years of service at Therm-O-Disc. Ethel was a member of Mansfield Open Bible Church and had a kind and loving heart. She enjoyed working in her yard, walking the B & O bike trail and traveling to West Virginia to see her family. She adored her grandchildren and spoiled them every opportunity she could. Years ago, she was a member of a local bowling league where she made many friends. Ethel was an excellent water skier and enjoyed spending time with her husband in a sports car club.

Ethel is survived by her husband, William Kozma; daughter, Kristine (Tim) Stantz of Mansfield; son, Rich (Terri) Kozma of Mansfield; eight grandchildren, Justin Esterline, David Esterline, Summer Adkins, Travis Stantz, Shawn Vest, Tina Neal, Katie Gerich and Kristi Shrimplin; eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles (Sandy) Beasley, Carl (Jerylyn) Beasley and Jerry Beasley; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll Beasley and Donnie Beasley; and a sister, Hellen Hohler.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2021, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Dink Porter will follow at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mansfield Open Bible Church. In compliance with the governor’s mandate, all guests must wear a face covering and maintain appropriate social distancing during their time in the funeral home.
