Michael A Kitts, age 64, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away April 4, 2024 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital following a 23 month battle with cancer.
On June 21, 1959 he was born in Ashland, Ohio to Ronald and Barbara (Letourneau) Kitts.
He had worked at General Motors from 1979-1990 then he worked at OhioHealth Hospital as an RN from 1993-2019. Michael loved to read books. He would read about 300-400 pages daily.
He also loved music especially the blues and some of his favorite groups were, Gov’t Mule, Tom Petty, Junior Kimbrough and Drive By Truckers.
He is survived by Hazel “Rose” Kitts, Step mother (loving mother); Steven Kitts, brother; Diane Roads (Kitts); John Lynch, step brother; Marci Leidigh, step sister; Christopher Kitts, son; Danny Kitts , uncle; Terry and Cathy Miller, Randy Thornton, Tom LaLiberte; Lee Ann, Jenn Aurand, Stacy Littleton, Brian Miller, Eric Vikingstad, Becky Jordan, Robin, Sandy and Darcie his “Family of Friends.”
Michael was preceded in death by Ron Kitts, father; Barb Letourneau Kitts, mother and Greg Jackson and Glenda Chance, special friends.
